We’re Denayer and Carlos — frequent travelers, short-term rental enthusiasts, and the co-founders of Direct BookMe. Like many of you, we love the freedom and experience of staying in vacation rentals. But over time, the booking fees on popular platforms kept climbing — for both hosts and guests. We started looking for a better way to book directly with hosts and avoid the middleman. What we found was a scattered, frustrating process that took too much time and offered too little confidence.
